Event Description

Crush Wine Run has brought the best elements together for a fun run like no other.  On any given weekend, you can find a fun run in the area but the Crush Wine Run is the only one that combines a scenic course, 3 distances to accommodate all athletic levels and a wine tasting at the finish line.  Interest has already generated registrations from all throughout Sacramento County and beyond.

On any given weekend you can find a fun run in the area but the Crush Wine Run is the only one that combines a scenic course, 3 distances to accommodate all athletic levels, and wine tasting at the finish line.

We are expecting 2,000 participants at our inaugural event and expect to grow this event year after year. Why is a wine run significant? Sacramento makes the top 10 list of cities with the highest wine consumption in the country. In Fact, Sacramento is #4 according to the Sacramento Biz Journal  Sacramento is also ranked #5 in the nation for most fit and active cities according to Health and Fitness CheatSheet.  We are simply combining the best of both worlds in a fun family-friendly event for all to enjoy.

As a participating winery you will have your name/logo included on the finisher shirts, on posters, flyers, social media, and other promotional material used to advertise the event. We will start our advertising campaign on May 1st and we ask all sponsors, vendors, and wineries to have their participation contract filled out and logos submitted on or before April 20th. The sooner we receive your applicant the more exposure you will get.

With an expected 2,000 participants at our inaugural event we will be able to help the fight against human trafficking due to a portion of the proceeds being donated to Blue International and 3 Strands.

Diamond Sponsor - $3,500

Registration Sponsor  – $3,000 (Limit of 2)

Sponsor logo will be included on all event registration confirmation emails.  Sponsor banner will be displayed in the Registration area during packet pickup day prior to event OR sponsor may host packet pick up at their location.  Banner will be displayed on event registration area day of event (provided by sponsor).

Commemorative Tasting Glass Sponsor – $3,500  (Limit of 1)   

Company logo on 1,500 official commemorative tasting glasses.  All attendees will receive one glass with event logo on one side and your logo on the other.

5K or 10K Badge Sponsor – $3,000  (Limit of 1 per level)

Sponsor logo will be included on 5k or 10K Runners Badge.  Runners Badge artwork will be used for ribbons, metals and promotions.

Online Ticket Sponsor (Limit of 2 sponsors)

Receive logo exposure on the online ticket purchase page and email confirmation.   Expected online sales in 2017 of 2,000.

Wristband Sponsor (Limit of 1 sponsors)

Your company name and/or website will be printed on wine tasting wristbands and Rubber Awareness wristbands.  All event runners will receive an Awareness Wristband.

3K Badge Sponsor   (Limit of 1)

Sponsor logo will be included on 3K Runners Badge.  Runners Badge artwork will be used for ribbons, metals and promotions.

Event Sponsor – $1,000

Virtual Goody Bag Sponsor

Sponsor can provide a promotional incentive that will be distributed electronically to all event participants post event.  Great way to thank participants and remind them of who you are.

On Course Water Station Sponsor (limit of 1) 

Sponsor will be provided a spot along the course to provide water to volunteers and runners as they pass by.  Sponsor can bring 8 volunteers (they can wear sponsor apparel) and banner will be displayed at your station. May have additional gear like a popup tent. Must get Race Director approval of final layout.

Mile Sponsor (limit of 1)

Sponsor logo and inspirational message on up to “ X ”  mile marker signs.  Signage provided by event.

Raffle sponsor – $750  (price reduced due to required raffle prize donation)

Sponsors will be recognized with signage at the Raffle Prize area and during the raffle prize drawings.  Sponsors are required to donate a raffle prize with a minimum value of $100.  There is no limit to the number of Raffle Sponsors.
